Job Summary
- As the Area Sales Manager for the VI Branch, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our corporate sales operations.
- You will lead a dedicated sales team, focusing on driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and closing high-value deals.
- Your experience in the electro-mechanical industry and your proven track record in people management will be critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10+ sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and professional development.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals and expand market presence in the corporate B2B sector.
- Client Networking & Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and potential business partners to drive new business opportunities and enhance client satisfaction.
- Sales Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, conduct market research, and leverage industry knowledge to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Deal Closure: Oversee the sales process from initial prospecting to deal closure, ensuring effective negotiation, proposal development, and contract management.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights to senior management for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate sales (B2B), with a strong background in electro-mechanical products.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team of 10+ individuals.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in sales prospecting, client networking, and closing deals.
- People Management: Effective in mentoring and developing team members, with a focus on achieving both individual and team goals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Education: BSC/HND
Salary
N400,000 – N600,000 per month (Negotiable).
