Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve overall sales goals within the assigned area.
- Identify, target, and engage potential customers, including distributors and food service operators.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Monitor sales performance and adapt strategies to meet changing market conditions and customer demands.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the market needs.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales activities, achievements, and forecasts for upper management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the food production or FMCG sectors.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
