Job Description
- We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join our construction firm.
- The ideal candidate who should be within 27-40 years will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing building projects from concept to completion.
- You will ensure that all designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory standards while meeting clients’ needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs, drawings, and plans for construction projects.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and translate ideas into feasible design solutions.
- Prepare and present design proposals, 3D renderings, and working drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
- Coordinate with engineers, quantity surveyors, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor design implementation, materials, and workmanship.
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in tender preparation, cost estimation, and materials specification.
- Revise drawings and plans based on client feedback and site conditions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and design records throughout all stages.
- Provide technical guidance and design input during construction and project handover.
Education and Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Architecture or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Professional registration with ARCON, NIA, or an equivalent body is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and other architectural design tools.
- Strong Knowledge of project management is required.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and sustainable building practices.
- Strong visualization, presentation, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of post-graduation experience in architectural design, preferably within the construction industry.
