Job Summary

  • The Administrative Services Officer at Dangote Cement Transport is responsible for coordinating Hospital Administration Management and administrative functions to ensure seamless operations within the organization.
  • This role involves managing administrative processes, maintaining office efficiency, and overseeing the general upkeep of facilities, all aimed at facilitating a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring approved Health and Administration Management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of administrative activities and employee documentation.
  • Coordinate office operations and procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics for meetings, events, and training sessions.
  • Oversee supply inventory and procures necessary office supplies and equipment.
  • Provide support in the administration of employee health programs and related activities.
  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and preparing financial reports.
  • Address employee inquiries related to administrative procedures and resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing transportation logistics, including scheduling and route planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle and transportation activities.
  • Prepare and process documentation related to transportation operations.
  • Liaise with external service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking for transportation-related activities.
  • Maintain and update the transportation database and filing systems.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare reports related to transportation performance and logistics operations.

Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • BSc or HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • Between 4 – 6 years of experience in administrative or logistics support roles.
  • Experience within the transport or logistics sector is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
