Job Summary
- Are you passionate about organization, collaboration, and making an impact? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team.
- This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our mission of empowering African women entrepreneurs.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, organize files, and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
- Collaboration Tools: Manage and utilize tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, and Slack for seamless teamwork.
- CRM Tools: Update and maintain customer relationship management systems to enhance engagement and track outcomes.
- Research and Application: Conduct research on industry trends, funding opportunities, and partnerships, and assist with applications.
- Drafting Soliciting Letters: Create compelling and professional letters to solicit funding, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Planning Events: Coordinate logistics and provide administrative support for events, workshops, and webinars.
- Identifying and Applying for Opportunities: Scout for grants, fellowships, and other opportunities that align with the organization’s goals and handle application processes.
- Social Media Savvy: Manage and grow the organization’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key metrics to measure performance and provide actionable insights.
- Community Management: Engage with our online and offline communities to foster meaningful relationships and support.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in administrative or support roles.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and content creation tools.
- Familiarity with CRM software and collaboration tools.
- Excellent research, writing and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
- Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for women empowerment.
