Job Title: Admin & MIS in Charge Officer

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Admin & Mis In-charge is responsible for managing administrative operations and overseeing the Management Information System (MIS) For a bulk emulsion plant.
  • This role involves ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining compliance with labor laws, managing a workforce of approximately 80 workmen, and providing accurate and timely data to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate smooth coordination between workers, supervisors and management.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, including factory laws, labor laws, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain updated employee records and attendance.
  • Coordinate with plant management to ensure adequate resources, materials, and manpower are available for uninterrupted operations.
  • Manage and Maintain MIS for the plant, compiling data related to production, safety, workforce performance and operational efficiency.
  • Provide actionable insights based on MIS reports to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Applications or related field.
  • A diploma or certification in Management Information Systems or HR Management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role with MIS responsibility, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Experience managing a workforce of 50+ individuals, including supervision and compliance.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
