Job Description

  • The Admin/HR Officer manages employee records, payroll, recruitment, and general office administration.
  • This role ensures compliance with labor laws and supports staff welfare and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date staff records and payroll systems.
  • Ensure labor law and policy compliance.
  • Manage leave, attendance, and disciplinary processes.
  • Support administrative tasks across departments.

KPIs

  • Time to fill vacant roles (days).
  • Employee turnover rate.
  • Payroll accuracy and timeliness.
  • Compliance audit score (% compliance).
  • Staff satisfaction index (via surveys).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in HR/Admin, especially in manufacturing, utilities, or water-sector environments.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Nigerian labor laws and regulatory standards.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High levels of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Self-driven, capable of working independently, and adept at handling stress and competing priorities.

Salary
N100,000 – N130,000 gross monthly.
