Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations.
- The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense tracking to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights that support investment and operational strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- 5–7years’ experience in accounting, preferably within the financial services or asset management industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary
N6,000,000 – N7,500,000 per year.
