Sales Force Consulting – Our client ranks amongst the biggest hospitality, oil and gas and betting group of companies in Anambra State but located in the city of Onitsha.

They are recruiting an energetic and smart individual to work with the Group MD/CEO in the capacity below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• General book-keeping ensuring that all financial transactions are captured through the Group’s accounting software
• Carryout periodic and prompt reconciliations with bankers, debtors and creditors by monitoring account statements regularly to ensure they tally with the company’s records with zero tolerance for and prompt recovery of excess charges.
• Prepare allfinancial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

Qualifications

• First Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Applicants must possess between 5-7years accounting work experience
• ACA/ANAN qualification is recommended
• A Master’s degree (e.g., an MBA with a focus on Accounting) is an advantage
• Other relevant certifications may include Chartered Accountant (ACA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Other Conditions:

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles in oil and gas, hotel management, and pool betting company
• Experience with financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes.
• Familiarity with the hotel industry, oil and gas sector, and gambling regulations and understanding of the unique financial and regulatory challenges in these areas
• Ideal candidate should presently reside or can easily procure accommodationin Onitsha.
• Must age less than 45years

Skill Set:

• Ability to develop and implement cost saving measures
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Business Acumen
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or industry-specific software).
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve business performance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Understanding of compliance requirements specific to each industry, such as tax laws for hotels, environmental regulations for oil and gas, and licensing laws for betting companies.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
