Swift Consulting Limited – Our client, a Real Estate firm, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lekki-Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Major Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.
- Taxation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, and prepare tax returns as required.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting.
- Develope Internal Controls and Risk Management.
- Provide Financial Guidance and support including financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong analytical and Problem-Solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
