Job Title: Account Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of financial records, systems, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management procedures.
- Evaluate the adequacy of internal policies and procedures and ensure they are being followed.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, weaknesses, or fraud risks in financial operations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, laws, and financial best practices.
- Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Assist in the development of annual audit plans and schedules.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations, accounting standards, and auditing practices.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree.
