Job Title: Account Officer
Location: Island, Lagos

Job Summary
- The Account Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, handling accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditure against budget.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (PAYE, VAT, WHT) and support audits.
- Process payroll in collaboration with the HR/Admin department.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar role.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, or ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
