Job Title: Account Officer
Location: Agege, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Plan and assess all accounting procedures and policies to ensure accurate and complete transaction recording.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, accounts receivable, and payable balances monthly.
- Prepare year-end schedules for audit purposes.
- Recommend improvements to the company’s accounting processes.
- Prepare payment vouchers and accurately code all transactions.
- Process expense payments.
- Reconcile advances, review receipts, and code expenses in the general ledger, ensuring proper entry into the Oracle system.
- Maintain organized accounting records and files.
- Track and follow up on outstanding advances to ensure timely reconciliation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- HND /Â B.Sc. Degree in Accounting with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Professional membership in ICAN is an added advantage.
- Must be between 25-35 years old.
- Open to both male and female candidates
