Job Title: Director of Technical & Regulatory Affairs

Summary

  • Do you want to play a pivotal role in shaping the regulatory and technical agenda for one of the most exciting global FMCG brands?
  • Are you a senior regulatory leader with proven experience navigating complex African markets and driving innovation within FMCG?

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a regulatory affairs team across Africa, supporting product launches and innovation.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance for ingredients, packaging, claims, and promotional materials.
  • Anticipate and influence regulatory change, building strong relationships with authorities, NGOs, and industry bodies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across supply chain, legal, and commercial to deliver compliant, timely projects.
  • Represent Monster Energy in regional industry and regulatory forums, shaping policy and advancing the company’s agenda.

About You

  • Nigerian citizen with a NAFDAC-recognised scientific degree (Food Science/Technology, Nutrition or related).
  • Extensive experience in regulatory affairs, technical operations, or FMCG supply chain.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong track record in leading regulatory affairs across multiple African markets.
  • Excellent communicator, confident engaging with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50% locally and internationally).
