Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Officer

Job Summary
- We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Officer to oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
- You’ll play a key role in shaping our team culture, ensuring compliance, and driving HR excellence within a growing tech startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Create job descriptions and manage the full recruitment and onboarding cycle.
- Identify training needs and organise employee development programmes.
- Implement performance appraisal systems and support KPI tracking.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement and wellness initiatives.
- Update HR policies and ensure compliance with labour laws.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions professionally.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and leave records with accuracy.
- Maintain confidential employee data and prepare HR reports.
- Align HR initiatives with business goals and workforce planning needs.
- Support daily HR operations, documentation, and offboarding processes.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of a 2:2 or HND Lower Credit required.
Certifications:
- HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, etc.) are an advantage.
Experience:
- 3–5 years in a similar HR role, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws.
- Proficiency in HR tools and systems.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Discreet, proactive, and adaptable with sound judgment.
- Team player with strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
