Job Title: Human Resources Officer – Employee Services

Location: Rivers

Job Summary

  • The Employee Services Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day employee relations, delivering high-quality employee support services, and ensuring a positive workplace experience.
  • This role will also manage the company’s official social media channels, create engaging content, and drive digital engagement in alignment with Tamrose’s brand and culture objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will have a blend of HR operational experience and strong digital communication skills.

Responsibilities
Employee Services & Relations:

  • Manage and respond to day-to-day employee inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of employee-related transactions (leave, benefits, onboarding, exit formalities, etc.).
  • Maintain updated employee service records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Support HR initiatives, including wellness programs, engagement activities, and employee recognition efforts.

Digital Engagement & Communication:

  • Manage and monitor Tamrose’s official social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • Develop and post relevant, engaging content that reflects Tamrose’s brand, values, and achievements.
  • Drive online engagement and community interaction with targeted campaigns and initiatives.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with HR, Administration, and Corporate Communications teams to ensure alignment of employee services and communication efforts.
  • Prepare periodic reports on employee service trends, feedback, and social media engagement for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Communications, or related field.
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in employee services, employee relations, or HR operations.
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) or Communications is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in oil & gas, large process or manufacturing, aviation, or maritime industries.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and employee engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage corporate social media accounts and create engaging digital content.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS tools and social media analytics.
