Job Title: Database Administrator

Job Summary
- We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and play a key role in supporting our mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Database software.
- Manage database objects (tables, indexes, views, procedures, triggers).
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and high availability configurations.
- Implement monitoring tools (OEM, AWR, ASH) and resolve performance issues.
- Design and manage RMAN-based backup and recovery strategies.
- Ensure database security, access controls, and compliance with audits.
- Troubleshoot incidents, manage change requests, and maintain documentation.
- Support database re-architecting, new instance creation, and optimization projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 5 – 8 years of experience.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, AWR/ASH.
- Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and high-availability solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Salary
N350,000 – N600,000 per month.
