Job Title: Production Superintendent
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilites
- Manage daily production operations, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards
- Monitor production and quality metrics, addressing inefficiencies promptly
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment functionality and availability
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure uninterrupted production processes
- Support project execution, engineering, procurement, and commissioning activities
- Prepare daily production and evacuation reports; present performance updates to stakeholders
- Identify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and enforce compliance
- Coordinate with technical and support teams to maintain smooth workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil/Structural) or related fields
- Minimum of 15 years’ supervisory experience in oil & gas production operations in Nigeria
- Proven experience in swamp and offshore operations, plus project management expertise
- Valid IWCF certification and a strong HSSE compliance record are required
- Strong leadership, operations management, and troubleshooting skills
- Expertise in production forecasting, workflow planning, and contractor management
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Integrity, adaptability, analytical thinking, and results orientation.
