Job Description
- The Pharmacy Technician is essential to providing compassionate and precise care to our patients.
- This role focuses on accurately preparing medications and offering supportive service in a specialized clinical setting.
Responsibilities
Pharmacy Operations & Medication Preparation:
- Prepare new prescriptions and refill requests under pharmacist supervision.
- Accurately dispense medication to patients as ordered by providers.
- Package and label prescribed medications with meticulous attention to detail.
- Prepare specialized compounded medications using both sterile and non-sterile processes.
- Fill and manage automated dispensing machines.
- Repackage bulk medications into unit-of-use containers.
Patient Service & Support:
- Greet patients warmly and offer knowledgeable assistance.
- Answer questions and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Process payments and package patient purchases.
- Guide patients on fertility-related products and merchandise as needed.
- Inform patients about clinic policies, promotions, or support programs.
Administrative & Inventory Duties:
- Process insurance claims and verify coverage.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory through stocking, restocking, and conducting counts.
- Organize the sales floor and create displays of educational materials or products.
Renumeration: Competitive (Based on experience)
