Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist with Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Have experience in annual financial statement preparation from start to finish.
Key Competencies
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
- 2 – 5 years work experience as an Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP
- Advanced MS Excel skills including V look-up and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- ICAN Membership/student membership is preferable.
