Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Executive will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and promoting the hospital’s range of specialized healthcare services.
  • The role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare market, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to develop innovative strategies to increase patient acquisition, corporate accounts, and referral networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporate organizations, HMOs, government agencies, NGOs, and community health programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, referring physicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and present business proposals, service packages, and partnership agreements.
  • Organize and coordinate health awareness programs, corporate wellness initiatives, and medical outreach events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and patient feedback to inform business strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns for the hospital’s services.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare periodic business growth reports for management.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to develop service packages and pricing models.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the hospital’s specialties, facilities, and treatment offerings to effectively promote them to potential clients.
  • Represent the hospital at conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, preferably in healthcare or service-based industries.
  • Proven ability to meet sales or growth targets.
  • Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good understanding of healthcare operations and the hospital market environment is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Regular office hours with flexibility for off-site meetings and events.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / month.
