Job Title: Cash Analyst & Reconciliation Officer

Position Summary
- Cash collections, Analysis, and reconciliation of cash collected from cash point locations across the group.
- Responds to queries raised by Group Head BTS as regards cash transactions across the hospital.
- Reviews accuracy of postings made on the Electronic Medical Record for the Hospital group.
Scope of the Job:
- 1st Reporting Line: Cash Billing Lead
- 2nd Reporting Line: Group Head, BTS
Objective
- Work harmoniously with other members of staff including the Cash Officers, Billing team, finance, internal control, etc.
Responsibilities
- Timely rendition of daily/ weekly/ Monthly reports.
- Daily Collection of cash for all locations. These collections should agree with system figures or any anomaly to be escalated.
- Daily reconciliation of collected cash for accuracy.
- Ensures periodic review of Cash Officers activities.
- Will be required to deposit cash at bank in line with the cash handling policy threshold.
- Ensure daily postings of all collected sums on the company’s ERP software.
- Monitor and ensure all EMR daily postings matches with physical collections in the right order with any anomaly escalated.
- Ensure that patients’ confidentiality is maintained.
- Ensure that all evidence of postings is maintained orderly for efficient reconciliation and reference purpose.
- Accountability and proper safe keep of collected cash from all locations.
- Follow up on any POS issues across the locations with the respective provider.
- Execute other tasks assigned by the Head of BTS or any other direct Superior.
Requirements
Competencies:
- Analysis Skills – Ability to analyze receipts to understand the reasons for any disparity.

- Computer Skills – Proficient ability to use a computer and EMR systems, Other third-party applications that will be provided by
- partners, proficiency in MS Office suite.

- Flexibility – Ability to adapt easily to changing conditions and work responsibilities.

Work Environment:
