Job Title: Showroom Manager

Job Summary
- The Showroom Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the furniture showroom, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving sales of custom-made wood furniture.
- This role requires strong leadership, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for interior design and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Relations:
- Engage customers, understand their needs and present appropriate custom furniture solutions.
- Provide expert advice on wood types, finishes, designs, and customization options.
- Manage customer orders, including measurements, design approvals, and production timelines.
- Follow up with customers throughout the sales and delivery process, ensuring satisfaction.
Showroom Management:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing showroom that reflects the brand.
- Supervise and motivate showroom staff to meet sales targets and provide excellent service.
- Coordinate display changes and layout updates in alignment with marketing and seasonal trends.
- Ensure that all furniture pieces are properly tagged and displayed.
Operations & Coordination:
- Work closely with the design and production teams to align showroom offerings with workshop capabilities.
- Track sales, manage inventory, and provide regular reports to management.
- Handle complaints or service issues professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Monitor and manage showroom expenses and petty cash.
Marketing & Brand Promotion:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotions, events, and social media campaigns.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product and service improvements.
- Network with architects, interior designers, and contractors to promote the brand.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field.
- 3–5 years of retail or showroom management experience, preferably in the furniture or home décor sector.
- Knowledge of wood types, furniture finishes, and custom design processes is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong sales orientation.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM or POS software is a plus.
Desirable:
- Experience with AutoCAD or 3D visualization tools.
- Background in franchised retail operations.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and supply chain networks.
- Certification in project management (PMP or PRINCE2).
