Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in ASP.NET and C# to join our technology team.
- This role requires a minimum of 7 years of backend development experience, specifically within the fintech industry or cross-border payment platforms.
- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our high-volume transactional infrastructure while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend systems using ASP.NET and C#.
- Develop APIs and services to support mobile and web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver complete and scalable features.
- Optimize and refactor existing backend systems for performance and maintainability.
- Ensure data protection and security best practices are implemented across all backend systems.
- Integrate with external systems such as payment gateways, KYC/AML providers, and third-party APIs.
- Manage database performance, including complex queries, indexing, and optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 7 years of backend development experience, with proven work in fintech or financial services.
- Expertise in ASP.NET (Core and MVC), C#, and .NET framework.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
- Solid experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of secure coding principles and data protection in financial applications.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure or AWS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Salary
N900,000 – N1,000,000 monthly.
