Job Title: UX / UI Developer – LumApps Specialist
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilties
- The UX/UI Developer will support the design, customization, and optimization of the client’s LumApps intranet platform across assigned projects, as well as create a small number of LumApps-based extranets..
- Gather functional and design requirements from internal teams and translate them into a user centred LumApps experience.
- Customize and implement LumApps templates, themes, and widgets to meet branding and functionality requirements.
- Integrate dynamic content and ensure compatibility with Google Workspace, as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues, providing technical support during implementation, and documenting the customization work.
- Ensure all deliverables meet accessibility standards and align with clientdesign guidelines.
- Deliver final tested and documented LumApps platform updates within the agreed project timeline.
- Adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques while contributing to the technical code base, including any required documentation
- Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development, and testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Design, or related field.
- Strong experience in UX/UI development, including demonstrated expertise working with LumApps technology.
- 2 – 5 years of professional experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Liquid templates, and responsive web design.
- Proven experience customizing LumApps sites, including creating widgets, templates, and dynamic pages.
- Familiarity with API integrations and Google Workspace integration within LumApps.
- Ability to deliver high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of UX best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), and digital governance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
