Job Description
- We are seeking a proactive and experienced Supervisor to join our restaurant team.
- The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff performance, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to help ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Ensure excellent customer service by monitoring dining areas and addressing customer concerns promptly
- Train, motivate, and support restaurant staff to maintain service standards
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, and adherence to policies
- Oversee inventory management, stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers when necessary
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Coordinate shift schedules and delegate tasks efficiently
- Assist in handling cash, POS transactions, and daily sales reconciliation
- Participate in and contribute to marketing and promotional strategies
- Report directly to the restaurant manager or owner with updates on operations.
Requirements
- OND, HND, or Degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field
- 3 – 4 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Good understanding of food service operations and safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Neat and professional appearance
- Must be reliable, organized, and proactive
- Reside in Abuja, preferably within or near Wuse 2.
