Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring excellent kitchen hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare a variety of meals (local and/or continental dishes as required)
- Ensure all meals are cooked on time, with high-quality presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients and supplies
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Innovate and introduce new dishes periodically
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Ability to cook a wide range of meals (local and/or continental)
- Culinary certification or formal training is an added advantage
- Must be clean, organized, and able to work under pressure
- Strong sense of taste and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Trustworthy and dependable
