Job Summary
- This individual will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet quality standards and specifications by developing and executing test cases and test scripts, conducting various types of testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
- The ideal candidate must be able to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to stakeholders.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
- Analyze and troubleshoot defects and issues, and work with the development team to resolve these issues
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop and implement solutions to improve the software development process.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Compile and analyze statistical data and communicate test results and quality issues to stakeholders, including product managers, development teams, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.
- Create and maintain test reports and metrics to track progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Investigate customer complaints and product issues.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues and errors
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Required skills:
- Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role
- Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Familiarity with databases and query languages, such as SQL
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
