Job Description
- We are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven Video Editor to join our content production team for a YouTube channel centered around luxury lifestyle themesincluding travel, fashion, real estate, wellness, high-end experiences, and personal development.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, a strong eye for aesthetics, and the technical skills to bring polished, engaging content to life for a premium YouTube audience.
Responsibilities
- Edit one premium-quality YouTube video per week
- Organize and review raw footage delivered every weekend
- Implement smooth transitions, sound design, pacing, motion graphics, and text overlays as needed
- Apply cinematic color grading, audio balancing, and other post-production enhancements
- Maintain a consistent visual style and tone aligned with the brand’s luxurious, aspirational aesthetic
- Select and incorporate licensed or royalty-free music/sound effects that match the brand’s mood
- Stay updated on YouTube content trends, audience retention strategies, and editing techniques
- Actively receive and incorporate feedback, collaborating with the team to elevate each project
- Contribute creative ideas for storytelling, hooks, intros, and scene pacing to improve video performance
Requirements
- Proven experience editing videos for YouTube, preferably in the luxury, lifestyle, or personal brand space
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects or equivalent is a plus)
- Strong storytelling skills and a sharp visual eye
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines
- Fast, reliable internet connection and access to editing hardware/software
- Willingness to accept feedback and make necessary revisions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold brand standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with influencers or luxury brands
- Portfolio showcasing YouTube-style editing (please include links with your application)
- Familiarity with YouTube analytics and retention strategies
- Passion for luxury, fashion, or wellness content.
Your Weekly Deliverables:
- 1 Final Edited Video per Week
- Raw Footage Delivery: Every Saturday or Sunday
- Final Delivery Deadline:
- Preferred: Every Wednesday
- Latest: Every Thursday
- Maintain an open line for feedback and submit revised versions if necessary
- Provide input on improvements or creative direction if desired.
