Job Title: Procurement / Inventory Officer
Location: Magodo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, Twicw a month at Ajah Branch
Job Summary
- We are looking for an organised procurement officer to handle purchasing. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in securing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our business. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming stock, and be responsible for approving purchases.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure goods and services in accordance with company policies
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers
- Develop and implement inventory management systems
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement and inventory management
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
