Job Title: Initiative Lead – Bills & Services
Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Purpose
- The Initiative Lead – Bills & Services is responsible for owning and expanding Kolomoni’s value-added services portfolio, including airtime top-up, data bundles, TV subscriptions, electricity payments, tolling, education fees, government remittances, and partner integrations such as airtime-to-cash.
- This role leads the product strategy, partnership sourcing, technical integration, and customer experience design for all service-based transactions, across Mobile, USSD, Chatbot, and Corporate platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership:
- Own the roadmap for Kolomoni’s bills, utilities, and third-party service offerings.
- Define product expansion goals: local utility coverage, government service integration, agent-accessible payments.
- Prioritize features, flows, and pricing models to drive usage and margins.
- Direct integration to builders and service providers
Service Partnership Development:
- Source and manage direct integrations with service providers, aggregators (e.g., VTpass, Seamfix, iRecharge, Remita).
- Lead contract negotiations, SLA setup, onboarding, and revenue sharing agreements.
- Manage compliance with provider onboarding standards and uptime SLAs.
Cross-Channel Enablement:
- Work with Channel Managers to ensure every bill/service is accessible and optimized on:
- Mobile Apps (UX/UI)
- USSD (*5250# short code trees)
- Chatbot (WhatsApp, Telegram)
- Corporate portal (bulk payments for SMEs, NGOs, Core Banking Association, schools)
- Support embedded services in agent and API partner networks.
Pricing, Margins, & Performance Optimization:
- Define markups, discounts, referral incentives, and cashback structures.
- Optimize service transaction success rates, especially on high-volume services (e.g., airtime, power).
- Regularly benchmark pricing and uptime against competitor offerings.
Operational Support & Compliance:
- Ensure automated and manual reconciliation systems are accurate, timely, and auditable.
- Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to monitor fraud and ensure regulatory alignment (especially on sensitive services like taxes, education, and tolling).
- Maintain clear reporting with finance on float movements, commissions, and service remittances.
Required Qualification and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Statistic or related field.
- 1 – 3 years of experience (preferably in fintech or banking).
Skills:
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills for working with third-party providers.
- Experience with service aggregators, billers, and electronic payment infrastructure in Nigeria.
- Familiarity with agent networks, merchant payments, and P2P service distribution models.
