Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for residential and commercial construction projects
- Lead and manage cost estimations and budgeting for government tenders and private contracts
- Review tender documents and ensure timely bid submissions
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Develop bills of quantities and cost plans for projects.
- Manage project budgets and monitor costs to ensure financial efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to negotiate pricing and ensure quality materials.
- Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions to optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare tender documents and assist in contractor selection.
- Collaborate with site engineers and project managers for cost control
- Track project variations and prepare valuation reports
Requirements
- HND / BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3 – 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong background in preparing government bid proposals
- Strong fieldwork experience and ability to work on-site.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards.
