We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Protection Team Lead

Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management:

  • Supervising and guiding protection staff in the implementation of protection activities.
  • Developing and implementing work plans, ensuring efficient workload distribution and monitoring progress.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to staff, including capacity building and training.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Program Implementation:

  • Overseeing the implementation of protection activities, such as case management, referrals, and community-based protection initiatives.
  • Ensuring that protection principles are mainstreamed across all program activities.
  • Contributing to the development and adaptation of protection monitoring tools and frameworks.
  • Conducting protection monitoring, including data collection and analysis, to identify protection concerns and needs.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of referral pathways.
  • Representing the organization in relevant protection coordination meetings and forums.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and other organizations.
  • Ensuring effective communication and information sharing within the team and with other departments.
  • Drafting protection monitoring reports and providing input into program reports.
  • Ensuring that all activities are in compliance with donor and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Contributing to the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of protection interventions.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 3-7 years experience.
