Role Overview
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Data Analyst to support our Business Development team.
- The candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to generate actionable insights that inform growth strategies, market expansion, and client engagement.
- This role plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making and measuring the effectiveness of business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze business development performance metrics, sales pipelines, and client trends.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from internal and external datasets.
Market & Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct market research to support opportunity assessment and business growth strategies.
- Track competitor activity and analyze industry benchmarks.
- Support segmentation and targeting strategies based on market data.
Business Support & Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to evaluate new business opportunities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve lead generation, conversion, and client retention.
- Support the development of business cases and pitch decks with relevant data insights.
Data Management & Visualization:
- Maintain accurate, clean, and well-organized data.
- Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support CRM optimization and data integrity efforts.
Key Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field.
- Certifications in Data Analysis, and experience in supporting a Business Development team is an added advantage.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the business environment.
- Proven track record of utilizing key data tools in analysis.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Communication skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Ability to generate impactful reports that will drive effective decision making
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
