Job Summary
- The Account Officer is responsible for supporting the hospital’s finance operations by managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, processing payments and invoices, and ensuring compliance with hospital financial policies and relevant healthcare regulations.
- The role contributes to the efficient financial management of the hospital to support quality patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance.
- Professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Good knowledge of hospital billing and insurance procedures is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
