Job Title: Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Summary
- We are seeking a talented Assistant warehouse manager to join our Warehouse team.
- The successful candidate should be able to ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Assist in receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
- Assist in setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
- Assist in management of stock control and reconciliation.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly.
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
Requirements and skills
- BSc Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- Candidate must hold a 2:1 degree or higher.
- At least 4 years proven work experience as an Assistant warehouse manager
- Possess warehousing skills tailored to the Organization (Experiential Marketing or similar)
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills.
