We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Lifeguard
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring Swimmers:
- Constantly observe guests in and around the pool to prevent accidents or unsafe behavior.
- Maintain a vigilant watch to identify signs of distress or drowning.
Rescue and Emergency Response:
- Perform water rescues in the event of an emergency.
- Administer first aid, CPR, or other lifesaving techniques when necessary.
Safety Enforcement:
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Educate guests about safe swimming practices.
Facility Inspection & Maintenance:
- Inspect pool area, safety equipment, and water quality regularly.
- Report any hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
Guest Assistance:
- Assist guests with questions or concerns regarding the pool or safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service while ensuring safety remains the priority.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain logs of water tests, incidents, and maintenance checks.
- Document any accidents or first aid treatments administered.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a relevant qualification with 4 years work experience.
