Position Overview

• The Videographer is responsible for capturing and producing engaging, human-centered video content that brings the brand to life.
• This role focuses on documenting real stories, visuals, and experiences that resonate with the local audience, foster community connection, and position the brand as relatable, trustworthy, and people-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Capture authentic, on-the-ground video content that reflects the local culture, values, and daily life experiences of the target audience.
• Storytelling: Develop visual stories that humanize the brand and foster meaningful emotional connections with viewers.
• Brand Representation: Move beyond a corporate tone by showcasing a genuine and accessible brand image that people can relate to.
• Community Engagement: Engage with individuals, local influencers, and stakeholders through interviews, video shoots, and collaborative projects.
• Production: Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various formats including social media, promotional campaigns, internal communications, and digital platforms.
• Authenticity & Relatability: Ensure content is culturally relevant, emotionally engaging, and aligned with the brand’s voice and values.
• Post-Production: Handle editing, color grading, sound design, and basic motion graphics as needed to produce polished final videos.
• Feedback & Iteration: Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to review and refine video concepts and deliverables for maximum impact.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
• Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple shoots and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in documentary-style shooting and capturing real-life stories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and sound recording.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and video formats.
• A creative mindset with a passion for building community through storytelling.
