
Gonzaga Jesuit College – Founded in 2021 in Okija, Anambra State, Gonzaga Jesuit College is the fourth Jesuit secondary school in Nigeria, following those in Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Lagos. Job Title: Physical and Health Education Teacher (Male and Female)

Job Description
- We are looking for qualified and energetic Physical & Health Education (PHE) Teachers to join our academic team.
- The teachers will help students stay active, healthy, and informed through physical education and health-related topics.
Responsibilities
- Teach physical education and health topics to students
- Plan and lead physical activities, exercises, games, and sports
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship
- Teach students about healthy living, hygiene, and personal well-being
- Organise inter-house sports, fitness tests, and health-related programs
- Monitor student progress and participation
- Maintain discipline and safety during all physical activities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education or a related field
- TRCN certification or proof of registration is an advantage
- At least 3years of experience teaching PHE in a school setting
- Experience planning sports events or managing school teams is an added advantage
- Being a WAEC/NECO examiner is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Good knowledge of sports, physical fitness, and health education
- Ability to lead students in practical activities
- Strong communication and class management skills
- Energetic, patient, and able to motivate students
- Good planning and teamwork skills.
Other Requirements:
- Must be passionate about fitness, health, and student development
- Must be available to resume at the start of the new academic term
- Must be able to work with both male and female students
- Must be ready to support the school’s values and policies.
Salary
N120,000 Monthly.
