Job Summary
- Lily Hospitals is currently seeking a competent and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our diagnostics and laboratory operations.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical skill, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safe and ethical laboratory practices.
- This role is for professionals who value quality, follow protocols rigorously, and work well within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and process samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) for routine and specialized laboratory testing.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety guidelines and quality control measures.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report test results using laboratory software and manual logs.
- Support the Lab Manager and Pathologist in day-to-day operations and quality assurance audits.
- Maintain cleanliness and calibration of equipment, and assist in inventory management of reagents and supplies.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
- Valid practicing license
- At least 1–3 years hands-on experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with quality assurance protocols and biosafety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
