Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver all lessons using the school’s provided materials
- Mark all assigned pupil work promptly and professionally
- Administer assessments according to school guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organised, and engaging classroom environment
- Provide constructive written feedback in pupils’ books and communicate effectively with parents
- Work professionally under the direction of the Curriculum Director.
Essential Requirements
For your application to be considered, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Female applicants only
- Must be a resident in Ibadan and live within a reasonable commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan
- B.Ed in Primary Education Studies or B.Sc. with PGDE from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience teaching in a structured school setting
- TRCN certification is mandatory
- Strong classroom management and excellent teaching skills in core subjects: English, Mathematics, and Science
- Able to teach a broad range of primary subjects
- Confident use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
- Ability to adopt the school’s handwriting scheme and write legibly
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain high-standard classroom displays
- High expectations for pupil behaviour, progress, and attainment
- Sound knowledge of learner tracking, assessment, and feedback
- Strong understanding of safeguarding practices in educational environments
- Have thorough understanding of best practices in teaching
- Willingness to use only school-provided lesson materials (no personal schemes)
