Job Title: Social Media Manager

Job Summary
- The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing high-impact social media strategies that elevate the Onyx Beauty Hub brand across all digital platforms.
- This role requires a keen eye for luxury aesthetics, a deep understanding of the hair and beauty industry, and a strong ability to engage, grow, and convert our online audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a results-driven social media strategy aligned with the brand’s vision, voice, and business goals.
- Create monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Monitor trends in the beauty and luxury hair space and incorporate them into strategic planning.
- Collaborate with the creative and product teams to plan and create visually stunning and engaging content (photos, videos, Reels, stories, etc.).
- Manage end-to-end production and scheduling of content using tools like Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
- Oversee all user-generated content, influencer collaborations, and brand storytelling.
- Respond promptly to DMs, comments, tags, and mentions to build strong community relationships.
- Host live sessions, Q&As, giveaways, and collaborations that drive engagement and brand loyalty.
- Actively engage with industry-related accounts, clients, and influencers to increase reach.
- Track and report performance metrics such as engagement rate, follower growth, impressions, reach, and conversions.
- Use insights to refine strategies and boost ROI on paid and organic campaigns.
- Provide monthly performance reports with key takeaways and improvement plans.
- Ensure all social media content aligns with Onyx Beauty Hub’s premium brand tone, values, and aesthetic.
- Uphold quality and professionalism in every post, caption, and interaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in beauty, fashion, or luxury brands.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, content trends, and analytics tools.
- Strong visual sense and ability to guide creative direction for photoshoots and campaigns.
- Video editing and graphic design skills are a plus (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for luxury hair, beauty trends, and digital storytelling.
Salary
N140,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
