Overview
- A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to strategic planning.
Responsibilities
Identifying New Business Opportunities:
- Researching potential clients, markets, and industries.
- Analyzing market trends and competitor strategies.
- Developing lists of target clients or sectors to approach.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Cold calling, emailing, and networking to generate leads.
- Scheduling and attending meetings with potential clients.
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified prospects.
Client Relationship Management:
- Developing and nurturing long-term relationships with clients.
- Understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Pitching products or services to prospective clients.
- Preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts.
- Negotiating terms and closing deals to meet sales targets.
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Contributing to the company’s sales and marketing strategy.
- Setting business development goals and tracking performance.
- Preparing regular reports on progress and opportunities.
Networking & Brand Representation:
- Attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Representing the company in a professional manner.
- Collaborating with marketing to boost brand awareness.
Qualifications
- First Degree / HND qualification in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering from reputable university
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
- Indepth understanding of the oil & Gas industry.
