JOB SUMMARY
- Mainly responsible for our Finance Operation, who should be a member of an accounting professional body.
- The Finance Officer would run the day-to-day Finance Operations, Expense reimbursements, Accounting and building Finance reports, etc.
- Esure efficient financial governance practices and processes
Duties & Responsibilities :
Financial Governance
- Coordinate annual budget planning and semi-annual budget reviews
- Maintain a budget tracking system to help functional heads to make financial decisions
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Company’s finance policies and procedures
- Maintain payment systems and processes that comply with Company’s finance policies and procedures
- Maintain a cash flow management system that projects cash requirements and coordinates with Fund Raising units to ensure a healthy cash balance
Financial Reporting
- Produce annual reports which include both financial (audited account) and non-financial information that are relevant to public stakeholders
- Produce semi-annual donor reports which include both financial (audited account) and non-financial information that are relevant to donors
- Produce quarterly financial reports for Company’s Board Members
- Produce monthly management reports for internal use
- Manage and coordinate the audit process
- Manage and coordinate remittance of statutory deductions etc
- Produce any other reports which may be required from time to time
- Assest & Equipment Management
- Capex/Opex administration
Education, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related courses from any reputable university (ACA) added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years experience in accounting/Finance
- Ability to construct and dissect simple financial statements with very minimal guidance.
- High level of attention to detail required to ensure report accuracy.
- Logical and methodical thinking required to design and improve financial processes.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills required for simple financial analysis.
- Competency with Microsoft Office productivity tool (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Share the same sense of mission and core values as the organization.
