Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor

Summary

  • The Human Resources and Supervisor at the organization is required to manage the talent, and help to bring out their best based on performance.
  • Oversee and take responsibility for all the activities that contribute to the effective operations process that converts input to output.

Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities are listed below; others may be assigned:

  • Ensure efficient systems are in place to enable the organization to attain its objective of maximum productivity
  • Create a conducive work environment that supports work creativity and vitality.
  • Draw up plans for the organization’s human resource needs
  • Carry out recruitment, selection, and recommendation of ideal fit for roles when necessary.
  • Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the area of information flow, management, business process, and reporting
  • Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s vision and mission specifically to support better management reporting, information flow, management, business process, and planning.
  • ​Supervise customer service and ensure that they are in line with customer satisfaction objectives
  • Maintain a database of candidates in the event of staff exit for easy replacement
  • Update job descriptions to suit the situational need of the organization based on current strategic goals.
  • Administer, prepare, and advise leave requisition for eligible staff
  • Ensure staff is always available as relieve
  • Set up leave schedule annually bearing in mind the organization’s business peak periods
  • Carry out a periodic review of the compensation structure
  • Carry out monthly performance appraisal for staff
  • Carry out disciplinary and grievance procedures, and redundancy programs and provide advice and recommendations
  • Draft a letter of Termination in line with disciplinary provision according to the organization’s policy
  • ​Ensure employment standards in line with the organization’s values and culture are adhered to
  • Provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations
  • Identify training, and development opportunities and organize staff training sessions, workshops, and activities.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 3-4 years experience.
