Job Title: Project Civil Engineer (Construction)
Location: Umuahia, Abia
Employment Type: Full-Time, 1-Year Renewable Contract
Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified Project Civil Engineer to lead and manage construction activities in Umuahia.
- This role requires strong experience in structural design, site supervision, and project coordination, ideally within the EPC or construction industry.
Key Duties
- Plan, design, and manage construction of buildings and infrastructure
- Supervise construction sites to ensure compliance with safety and design standards
- Prepare and interpret civil/structural drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
- Conduct site investigations, manage budgets, and track project milestones
- Resolve technical issues and maintain accurate project documentation
Requirements
- HNDÂ / B.Sc Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, EPC, or civil works
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent tools
- Strong project management, communication, and technical skills
- Certification is an added advantage
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Umuahia.
