We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Handle shutdown tasks and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Assemble, install, and align new machinery.
- Maintain safety standards and comply with the company’s health and environment policies.
Requirements
- For Fitter: 5+ years’ experience in DRI 350 Plant.
- For Sr Fitter: 8+ years’ experience in DRI 350 Plant.
- National Diploma or Trade Training Certificate.
- Expertise in handling mechanical and hydraulic systems in a large manufacturing plant.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and using technical manuals.
Competencies:
- Communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment and maintenance.
