Job Description

  • We are urgently recruiting for enthusiastic candidate (s) who will fill the position of a Team Lead, providing relevant support by coordinating the activities of the insurance team.
  • These includes providing leadership and management to a team of sales agents, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining a high standard of service.
  • You are to ensure the team achieve its goals, delivers exceptional customer service and adhere to industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the insurance team, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop and implement insurance strategies tailored to the specific needs of the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Oversee the underwriting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and work closely with the risk management team to mitigate potential threats.
  • Provide expert guidance on insurance coverage, policy renewals, and claims management.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks affecting the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on insurance performance and recommendations.
  • Set performance targets for the team and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met.

Requirements

  • Minimum Of BSc / HND / B.A in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or any related field.
  • Minimum of Five (5) Years Insurance experience preferably in similar organization.
  • Proven experience in insurance operations, preferably within the Real Estate Sector.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations.
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian insurance regulations and industry dynamics.
  • Relevant professional certifications in insurance and risk management.
  • Proficient in using insurance-related software and tools.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.

Salary
N105,000 monthly.
