Job Title: Portfolio Manager
Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the bank’s credit and investment portfolio to ensure strong performance and minimal default rates.
- Develop portfolio growth strategies while maintaining asset quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular portfolio analysis, risk assessments, and generate performance reports for senior management.
- Work closely with credit officers, business development teams, and recovery units to optimize loan performance.
- Identify market opportunities and recommend product adjustments based on customer needs and financial trends.
- Ensure timely renewal, restructuring, or recovery action on non-performing accounts.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, CBN guidelines, and other regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-6 years’ experience in credit/portfolio management within a microfinance or commercial banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of microfinance lending principles, portfolio analysis, and risk management.
- Proficient in financial reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of CBN regulations and Nigerian financial services industry is required.
