Job Description
- The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and other heavy equipment with precision and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cranes and heavy equipment to lift, move, and position loads.
- Communicate effectively with the operational team using hand signals and verbal communication.
- Study and understand weight limits to ensure safe operations.
- Report any abnormalities or operational struggles immediately to the maintenance team.
- Understand emergency operations and conditional control parameters.
- Adhere to workplace safety policies and regulations.
- Ensure the visibility of the cabin through regular cleaning.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC / GCE / NECO.
- Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field from an accredited institution in Nigeria (e.g., Engineering, Technical Education, or related fields).
- Certified Crane Operator (CCO) Certification or equivalent recognized by Nigerian authorities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes and heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to interpret load charts.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
